CYRESS, Calif. -- Toyo Tires® has signed as the Presenting Sponsor of the American Century® Championship Celebrity-Amateur Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place at the Edgewood Golf Course in scenic Lake Tahoe, Nevada from July 12th through the 17th.

Televised on NBC and The Golf Channel, this prestigious event celebrates its 16th year and boasts a $500,000.00 prize purse. More than 78 celebrity players include such sports legends as 6-time NBA Champion Michael Jordon, NFL Super Bowl MVP John Elway, and 14-time Tennis Grand Slam Champion Pete Sampras. In addition, Dan Quayle, former U.S. Vice President will compete with celebrities such as Donald Trump, and entertainers Ray Romano and Cheryl Ladd.
