The new-for-2005 HP Cavity Back Forged irons and wedges are indicative of Horsepower Golf's growing reputation for improved game performance through custom-fit quality equipment. Featuring a cavity-back design and an elegant nickel finish, HP Cavity Back Forged irons and wedges feature highly tuned perimeter weighting to provide maximum forgiveness in each clubhead within the set, while retaining the soft feel and high performance found in forged heads.
"With the design, quality and materials used in the HP Cavity Back Forged irons and wedges, players will never outgrow these clubs," says Pat Dempsey, owner and operator of Horsepower Golf. To achieve a high degree of playability, HP Cavity Back Forged prototypes underwent considerable testing by players ranging in skill level from 20-handicap to tour-level, and the feedback was extremely positive.
"At first we received such consistent, high praise that we became skeptical. We thought our test hitters were simply being polite," says Dempsey, who is also the 2002 Re/Max World Long Drive Senior Champion. "But as time went on, we learned that they were being very sincere even to the point of removing the name-brand irons in their own bags and replacing them with our HP Cavity Back Forged irons."
HP Cavity Back Forged Irons are sold as components or fully assembled. Suggested retail price for full set of assembled irons (3-PW) is $495. Individual heads are available at $39 each.
