SANTA MONICA, CA -- TOTAL GOLF ADVENTURES (TGA), the only national at-school, after school, golf enrichment program in the country and the leading initiative to grow junior golf in the U.S., announced today that The Florida Treasure Coast has been signed on as a new licensed territory.
Sean Kicker, a Veteran PGA Professional, is the licensee for TGA of Treasure Coast in Port St. Lucie, FL. Sean has been in the golf industry for over 15 years and is currently studying to obtain his Master Professional status in both Golf Operations and Teaching. He has received recognition for his achievements in golf through past nominations for such prestigious awards as PGA Professional of the Year, Junior Golf Leader, and the Horton Smith Trophy.
"Sean brings tremendous golf experience in both teaching and playing to the program," said Joshua Jacobs, Owner/Director of TGA. "We are very pleased to have him representing TGA and have great confidence in his expertise and ability to introduce many students to the game," he added.
"TGA provides the perfect way for me to share my passion for the game and help grow golf," said Sean Kicker. "There are a lot of potential junior golfers in our area and I'm looking forward to peaking their interest in a great sport," he added.
TGA's program, available for children in grades K-8, extends beyond learning the game of golf and honing the golf swing. A child's passion for the game of golf grows with a program that expands and improves their motor skills and coordination, encourages their advancement, and builds their confidence and self-esteem.
In addition, the TGA program promotes and teaches life values intrinsic to the game of golf:
- Respect - for the game, their partners, and the golf course
- Honesty
- Teamwork - classes include competition, and skills contests
- Sportsmanship - good sportsmanship is fundamental to the TGA curriculum and is rewarded in classes
- Commitment and Integrity
Total Golf Adventures is a Santa Monica based company that has 21 national programs in 18 states.
