KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - PGA Club Professional Champion Mike Small of Savoy, Ill., will head a 25-member delegation earning berths in the 87th PGA Championship, Aug.11-14, at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J.
Small, 39, the men's coach at the University of Illinois in Champaign, will be competing in his second PGA Championship. Small earned his first national title by finishing with a final-round 3-under-par 69 for a 1-over-par 289 total, June 26, at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Kiawah Island, S.C.
