Aserta Sports' Mark Worthington sets course record

(San Jose, CA) - Aserta Sports' Mark Worthington fired a final round 63 today and set a competitive course record in a come from behind victory in the first Summer Series event of the A.G. Spanos Tour at Stevenson Ranch Golf Club in Stevenson, CA.

Worthington posted seven birdies and an eagle in his record setting round. "The whole week was an incredible putting round," said Worthington who uses Aserta's ECLIPSE putter. "There was never a time when the putts weren't going in. I had great pace all week and this putter rolled the ball beautifully," he continued. Worthington had just 71 putts over the 54 holes averaging 23.6 putts per round.

This is Worthington's second victory on the AG Spanos Tour. He won the 2004 AG Season Tour Championship last year.
