Recently launched company WaggleWeight.com is recommending a long-overdue overhaul of the 1930's swingweighting method, the modernized specification named Waggle Weight.
In an article written by founder Bill Kostuj, it is revealed that, while swingweight can indeed affect one's entire golf swing, including its overall rhythm and timing, the parameter's foundation is actually traced back to a golfer's pre-swing waggling movement.
"This is where the 14-inch fulcrum distance comes into play," notes Kostuj, adding, "Nearly a century of puzzlement is finally put to rest concerning the whys and wherefores of this particular golf club specification."
With this knowledge and understanding, however, also comes the realization that far too many golfers cannot fully benefit from current swingweight balancing. The company points out that the present swingweighting scheme can be very problematic for a large percentage of players, and the outdated 14-inch, fixed-fulcrum dimension could be hurting more golf swings than it is helping.
Today's available hardware and software technology, though, can be utilized to produce a far superior golf club balancing system for the future. For further details concerning the Waggle Weight concept, please visit www.WaggleWeight.com.
