Gary Player and Gary Player Design have announced that, with immediate effect, they are no longer affiliated with Hunters Oak Golf Club in Queenstown, Maryland, as golf course designer nor in any other capacity. All design plans and documentation will remain the property of Gary Player Design, and Hunters Oak has agreed to cease the utilization of any intellectual property owned by Gary Player Design and/or the Gary Player Group.

"Gary Player Design and the owners of Hunters Oak came to realize that, as we did not share the same design objectives for the property, it was in the best interest to terminate the relationship. It is a nice piece of property and Hunters Oak can achieve its objectives with another qualified golf course designer. We wish all parties involved the best for a successful venture," stated Scott Ferrell, President of Gary Player Design.
