Matrix launches the "Matrix Woven" Driver Shaft

Brea, CA, - Matrix Composite Corporation (Matrix) officially launched its most advanced shaft entry to date. The "Matrix Woven" shaft has been in use on the PGA Tour and has been test marketed to a select group of Matrix dealers and distributors since February and the response has been

phenomenal. The "Matrix Woven" has amazed some of the best known and most successful players on the PGA Tour and has enhanced both the distance and the accuracy of these outstanding professionals. Key Matrix distributors, dealers and master club builders have reported such outstanding results that Matrix officials were completely satisfied with this testing phase and are officially launching this amazing product for sale to the golfing public today.

Other shaft companies have incorporated "weave" designs for cosmetic purposes. The new "Matrix Woven" uses a unique asymmetric lay-up method that positively affects fiber orientation, which aids in the loading and unloading of this shaft. The tight, high grade cross-woven layer of the "Matrix Woven" shaft enhances feel while simultaneously lowering torque. This design and engineering feat prevents the club head from leading the shaft prior to impact. In comparison to the company's existing "Matrix" shaft, which is its top shaft for smooth tempo players, the "Matrix Woven" shaft is a superior shaft option for high tempo, high "load" players. The new "Matrix Woven" is available in both High Trajectory (HT) and Low Trajectory (LT) options. Both the HT and the LT versions are available in an amazing twelve (12) flexes for unmatched customization.

"We are very proud to offer our new 'Matrix Woven' shaft to the general golfing public," MCC Vice President of Corporate Communications J.C. Beeson stated. "The unique design and engineering technology behind this new shaft is a testament to the way things have always been done here at Matrix. No shaft company demands as much of its final product and, therefore, no one else puts its products through as much testing as we do here. Not only do we use our state-of-the-art testing hardware throughout each phase of the process but we also take our products directly to the best golfers in the world on the PGA Tour for the ultimate evaluation. Reports from some of the top names in golf with high load, high tempo swings got back to us that our new 'Matrix Woven' shaft is the most stable and accurate shaft they have ever hit. This feedback is very rewarding because our goal in creating the 'Matrix Woven' was to create a complement to our 'Matrix' shaft, which caters to the slower, smoother swingers out there. We then test these new products with many of our key dealers and master club builders for feedback from their customers, our ultimate targeted consumers. After all this testing, we are convinced that we have a winner in the new 'Matrix Woven' and we are happy to make this advanced shaft technology available to golfers everywhere."
