Nathan Grube accepts new position with the Buick Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Nathan Grube, an employee of the Bruno Event Team, has accepted a position at the Buick Championship (formerly the Greater Hartford Open), a PGA TOUR event, in Cromwell, Connecticut. Grube's effective start date is July 1st. Grube has been the tournament director for the Southern Farm Bureau Classic in Jackson, MS which is a PGA TOUR event.

"We wish Nathan the best in his new endeavor," said Gene Hallman, President and CEO of Bruno Event Team. "He did a wonderful job in Jackson as tournament director. At this time, we have begun a search for a replacement," added Hallman. "We have numerous very qualified candidates and we hope to have a new tournament director in the near future."

The 38th Annual Southern Farm Bureau Classic will return to the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, MS, October 3-9. Since 1968, the event has raised more than $3.8 million for local charities.

Bruno Event Team is the management company for the Southern Farm Bureau Classic and is based in Birmingham, AL. Bruno Event Team manages numerous other golf events such as the US Senior and US Women's Opens as well as the Bruno's Memorial Classic, a Champions Tour event in Birmingham.
