Camp Creek Golf Club to Host 2nd Annual ‘Battle at the Creek’ Tournament
(PANAMA CITY BEACH, Florida) – St. Joe today announces that Camp Creek Golf Club will host the 2nd Annual “Battle at the Creek” charity golf tournament on November 6.
Proceeds from this event will benefit South Walton County Fire District holiday charities, which include The Angel Tree, Burn Camp, Caring and Sharing, MDA, St. Jude” and local families. Last year, this event raised thousands of dollars for various charities and helped hundreds of children. Event organizers look forward to an even greater turnout this year.
“The ‘Battle at the Creek’ is an important fundraiser for the South Walton County Fire District,” says event organizer Sergeant John Bunnicelli. “All of the money raised supports charities in need of help, especially during the holiday season.”
The 36 four-person teams competing in the event will have the opportunity to win a variety of excellent prizes, including a hole-in-one contest for a 2005 GMC Yukon SLT provided by title sponsor Lee Pontiac, vacations, golf bags and restaurant gift certificates. Dinner and a raffle will take place after the completion of the tournament. Hole sponsorships and shared hole sponsorships are also available.
