The Morris Men is a newly released mystery novel for golf enthusiasts and mystery readers alike. A good old fashioned ripping yarn in a classic 'British Cozy' style.
Sir Giles Pinkney and Sir Randolph Erskine were adversaries in business and on the course. Their mutual distain was barely containable, so when matters came to an inevitable head on the 18th fairway of Royal Stratford Golf Club in the summer of 1921, they decided there and then to create a bespoke contract - 'The Morris Men Agreement' -Winner takes all quite literally. And so their annual matchplay challenge was initiated, with a 19th century Tom Morris putter their chosen trophy. Only it was never properly resolved.
Three generations on, 'The Morris Men Agreement' resurfaces and a quite different challenge is sparked into life. The agreement is still valid on their descendants and when this is realised, along with all the consequences the revelation entails, the chase is on to urgently recover the elusive trophy.
The Morris men is a novel quite unlike most other mysteries. Visit the website for more information
