(Tempe, Ariz., May. 2005) – Golfers can enjoy unlimited play for just $35 a round at the exclusive, private Alta Mesa Country Club in Mesa. And diners can enjoy 25% off all their meals at the upscale Blue Wasabi in Scottsdale, or at the popular Melting Pot in Scottsdale and Phoenix.
The Festiva-Epic Membership Card program has debuted, offering Arizona consumers an unparalleled value in golf and dining. With a dozen golf courses and more than 500 currently restaurants participating, Festiva-Epic is poised to be the largest locally-owned and operated discount entertainment Membership in the state (see www.festiva.net for complete list of merchants).
The program is so strong, in fact, that the inaugural Festiva-Epic “Elite Black Card” Membership is limited to just 4,800 people. With golf savings of up to 72% and dining discounts of up to 50%, Membership must be controlled so it doesn’t overwhelm host golf courses and restaurants.
Entertainment discount programs are not new to the Valley. Yet several features set the Festiva-Epic Membership apart from the well-known Entertainment Book, Southwest PGA Card and other programs already available.
For golf, benefits include:
The lowest guaranteed golfing prices, posted clearly, with rates as low as $21 a round. Other discount programs offer lower rates, but only as percentages off vague “rack” rates.
Loyalty rewards at a majority of its golf courses. Members earn a free round after every 10th round played. Other programs do not offer rewards.
Advance tee times of up to five days, for prime, “first choice” reservations. Other programs offer one- to three-day advance reservations, for “leftover” tee times.
Unlimited play, weekends included.
Play at select private golf courses.
Discounts on pro shop purchases at a majority of the clubs.
In addition, the Festiva-Epic Golf Membership includes the Festiva Dining and Entertainment Card, offering discounts of 10- to 50% at more than 500 Valley restaurants and nightclubs, including participating golf course restaurants and lounges.
For dining, benefits include:
Unlimited use all year long at all participating restaurants. A diner with a Festiva Membership may always enjoy 25% off his food bill, for example, at the Valley’s popular Rock Bottom restaurants, even if he chooses to dine there daily. Many other discount programs restrict diners to one- or two-time use per restaurant, per year.
The Festiva Card may be used by single diners. Many other programs require couples dining, such as giving only two-for-one discounts.
The Festiva Card may be used for take-out meals. Many other programs are restricted to dine-in only.
Festiva Card benefits are constantly updated on the website (www.festiva.net), offering Members greater access to new restaurants than printed coupon books.
The program is locally owned and operated. Festiva Cardholders can request to have their favorite neighborhood entertainment venues added to the benefits program. Festiva management can direct its Valley staff to respond immediately.
††††www.festiva.net also operates an in-depth information site for the Valley’s restaurant scene, a service free even to non-Card Members. Currently, visitors can access Festiva’s “premier merchant collection” for complete menus and restaurant reviews, with more restaurants being featured daily. No other program offers full-access to local menus and such detailed dining information.
The Festiva-Epic Golf & Dining Card retails for $199 ($149 for two or more), and the Festiva Dining Card retails for $99 ($80 for two or more). To introduce the program, however, the Card is being offered as a month of May special, including a FREE 30-Day Trial. After the trial, when the Card is purchased, the full price of the Membership will be refunded in restaurant gift certificates (dollar value, obligation-free certificates, not coupons). For details, visit www.festiva.net.
The Festiva-Epic Card is distributed by Festiva Marketing, a full-service marketing and publishing company specializing in the restaurant and entertainment industries. Offices are located at 2211 S. 48th St., Tempe. Phone: 602-437-3774 / 1-800-844-2182. www.festiva.net
