Glenbrae Golf's Spirol SEAMLESS KNITTING Technology passed the milestone of 12 months continuous NON STOP production during the month of March. In 2004 a multi million £ investment saw 12 state of the art computer controlled machines commissioned in a specifically designed factory facility and start producing Spirol sweaters in readiness to meet the significant customer demand generated following the products official launch in late 2003. Customer reaction to the product has been so great, and above expectation, that the plant has kept producing garments without interruption.

The products statistics make fascinating reading. The total production cycle is closely controlled and is amazingly short taking only 5 hours to complete from the arrival of the raw wool fleece to a finished sweater ready to ship to a customer. A garment contains 430 grams of wool, 3,600 metres or over 2 miles of yarn and over 42,000 individual stitches.
