Norcross, GA - Dr. Gary Wiren, the 9th ranked instructor in Golf Digest's "Top 50 Instructors", has signed on as an Advisory Staff Member for Mizuno USA, Inc. Dr. Wiren will utilize and promote Mizuno equipment in his duties as Master Teaching Consultant at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, as well as other teaching and speaking engagements across the country and around the world.

Gary Wiren is a golf educator, one of only 209 Master members of the Professional Golfers Association of America, and a former national PGA staff director. He has taught over 250,000 people in private, groups, and seminars in 34 countries, and has authored 11 books on golf, one being the influential, 617-page PGA Teaching Manual. Dr. Wiren served the PGA of America for 12 years, founding its National Academy of Golf and serving as Director of Education, Learning and Research, and the PGA Hall of Fame. He has received several awards throughout his career including the national Joe Graffis Award for "educational contributions to golf" from the National Golf Foundation, the LPGA's highest honor for contributions to teaching, the "Wind Under Wings" and Rolex Ellen Griffin Award, Distinguished Service Awards for the Swedish Golf Union and Italian Golf Federation, and the National Merit Award from the Golf Course Owners Association of America.
Dr. Wiren is the father of four, and currently resides with his wife, Ion, in North Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to his Master Teaching Consultant responsibilities at the Trump International Golf Club, Dr. Wiren's current activities include; Chairman and Founder of Golf Around The World, Inc., Executive Editor of the "Classics of Golf", and is on GOLF Magazine's contributing teaching staff.
