Accu-Length adds local flavor to Bayer Advantage Classic

LEAWOOD, KANSAS - Accu-Length's presence will be strong and felt throughout the week at this year's 2005 Bayer Advantage Classic, the annual Champions Tour event in the Kansas City area.

The event, featuring a 54-hole stroke play tournament, will be held June 6-12 at the Nicklaus Golf Club at Lions Gate in Overland Park, Kansas. It was previously held at The National Golf Club of Kansas City and was known as the Bayer Advantage Celebrity Pro-Am.

Accu-Length's products will be available all week in the Expo area on the tournament's grounds.

Rick Rutter, President and COO of OnTrack Sports, LLC, the parent company of Accu-Length, is extremely pleased that his company is part of such a prestigious event that's so close to the company's headquarters in Leawood, Kansas.

"Accu-Length is proud to be part of the Bayer Advantage Classic," says Rutter. "By being involved with a major event near our corporate hometown, we are not only creating a synergy with the tournament but also strengthening our visibility in the community. We look forward to a long and fruitful association with the tournament."

The tournament is also excited to have Accu-LengthÅ’s involvement.

"We are pleased to have Accu-Length joining us as a participant in the Bayer Advantage Classic," said Bob Burris, Executive Director of the tournament. "We feel that spectators will be excited to learn more about the Accu-Length product. As a Kansas City-based company that is making great strides on a national level, they will certainly enhance the fan-friendly environment at the Bayer Advantage Classic."

The 2005 Bayer Advantage Classic will mark the 15th consecutive year that Kansas City has hosted an event on the Champions Tour. The tournament, which offers a $1.65 million purse, will be televised on The Golf Channel. George Brett, the baseball Hall of Famer who spent his entire career with the Kansas City Royals, will again serve as honorary co-chairman of the event.

Accu-Length is the only expandable junior golf club on the market. A one-of-a-kind spacer system allows Accu-Length to grow with the junior golfer without any sacrifice to the product's quality. Accu-Length's product line is known for its professional quality, with stainless steel heads and filament wound graphite shafts.

Accu-Length Expandable Junior Golf Clubs have received critical acclaim since hitting the marketplace. It was named the Best New Equipment Product at this year's PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.
