Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos' 'Survivor' promotion to benefit charities

PESHAWBESTOWN, Mich. -- Five non-profit organizations will receive a portion of profits from Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos ' newest promotion, " Survivor. " Traverse City ' s House of Hope, Fife Lake ' s Forgiveness for All Prison Ministries, and national non-profits Orchard Missions, Rupert ' s Kids, and Camp Kindle will benefit from the June 13 Third Annual Survivor Golf Outing, along with an auction and dinner, three elements of the multi-level Survivor promotion.

" One of the important concepts of Survivor is that it shows us that the best things in life are not things, " said Michael Michaud, Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos Corporate Marketing Director. " We ' re pleased to be able to work with Survivor cast members to benefit these five charities. "

The public will be able to meet nineteen Survivor cast members who will make appearances June 10 and 11 at Turtle Creek Casino in Williamsburg and Leelanau Sands Casino in Peshawbestown, as well as at the benefit golf outing, auction and dinner June 13 at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
