A call to Stallion Mountain will get you the dubious declaration that the course is in "fantastic" shape, even though TravelGolf has received numerous complaints from readers and even though we published photos detailing the nastiness.

According to inside sources, Stallion Mountain is now claiming the photos published by TravelGolf were of another course. Desperate people taking desperate measures.

Why don't these courses just come out and say they're having problems, let golfers have a discount and be done with it? I'm betting the good PR would pull in tons of appreciative golfers.
