Tour Golf’s Big Bomber hits the market

The Big Bomber series of woods and irons from Tour Golf Products, Columbus, Ohio, recently made their debut on the golf market. The Big Bombers are one of six models in the cutting edge Dynaflite line of heads from Tour Golf. The Big Bomber heads are designed to be among the easiest to hit in the golf industry. The clubs combine game improvement by way of precisely placed centers of gravity and higher moments of inertia. Designed with a variety of player levels in mind, the Big Bombers combine a high-tech design with an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Tour Golf’s highest volume driver, the Dynaflite Big Bomber provides a high Moment of Inertia (MOI) that yields longer, more accurate drives regardless of where on the face the ball is hit. Forged from beta titanium, the Big Bomber approaches the USGA maximum for head size which in effect creates a larger effective hitting area. The Big Bomber’s high tensile strength SP700 face measures 55mm, optimizing the head’s CG resulting in consistently high launch angles when matched with a matrix-fitted Tour Series shaft.
Designed to get the ball airborne easily with no loss of distance, the Big Bomber irons are the answer to many a golfer’s prayer. The low and deep centers of gravity and large head size combine for accuracy and playability in this 431 stainless steel head. Generous offset helps square the face at impact, leading to straighter shots. The Dynaflite Big Bomber irons’ large cavity and oversized design provide one of the largest sweet spots in the entire Tour Golf product line.
At a recent Tour Golf demo day, the Big Bomber heads were met with high praise from players of all handicap levels. Steve Dyer, a low handicap player remarked that “The Big Bomber driver with the Tour Series shaft lets me hit the ball as hard as I can with no loss of accuracy. I have tried clubs from some of the most well-known companies in golf and this one is the one that’s going in my bag – and right now!” Lisa Colangelo, a novice golfer, is adding a set of Big Bomber irons to her bag. “The irons are very attractive, which is important to me, plus they are much easier to get in the air than my current set. Hitting the ball is much more fun with these clubs,” adds Lisa.
Tour Golf’s full product line includes titanium and stainless steel wood heads, including Dynaflite, Limited Edition and Tour Series branded heads, many of which are new for 2005. Tour Golf offers matching stainless iron designs suited to various levels of players. The Accupath putter line, which features many of the most popular designs in the industry today, continues its pattern of consistent popularity. The Tour Golf website includes a series of articles detailing assembly, fitting and repair procedures, making Tour Golf a one-stop source for club components and technical information.
