Scottsdale (Az). -- Phil Mickelson will appear on three national television shows this week to discuss his book, "One Magical Sunday (But Winning Isn't Everything)". He is booked on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and CNBC's "Power Lunch" for Thursday, April 28, and "Pardon the Interruption" for Friday, April 29.
Mickelson has appeared on each show once before. He was a guest on the Leno show and "Power Lunch" following his 2004 Masters victory and was on "PTI" prior to the Ford Championship at Doral in March 2005.
These bookings come in a brief break in Mickelson's preparation to return to the PGA Tour at the Wachovia Championship after a three-week hiatus. The three-time winner this season, who leads the TOUR in scoring average and earnings, also is scheduled to play the EDS Byron Nelson Classic.
"I've really enjoyed being on these shows and am eager to visit them again," said Mickelson. "Writing the book was a lot of work; talking about it will be a lot of fun."
