The reaction to Nakashima's NP-1 forged irons has been spectacular, with many golfers commenting favorably on the classic "mirror-chromed" finish that has been offered exclusively to date. In introducing a brushed satin finish on these very popular irons, Nakashima Golf is acknowledging that there are golfers out there that prefer a more subtle, muted finish on their equipment. Nakashima Golf's craftsmen have added one extra step in the finishing process in order to achieve the brushed satin finish of this new option on the NP-1 tour forged irons and have confirmed through playability testing that the brushed satin version performs equally well.
