Canada's summer golf classic, the TELUS Skins Game, will be returning to Whistler this year bringing with it two of the biggest names in the game to Nicklaus North Golf Course. Vijay Singh and John Daly, as well as two additional players to be confirmed in the coming months, will tee it up July 4 and 5 for $360,000 in prize money. The return of the TELUS Skins Game to Nicklaus North Golf Course, the site of the 1997 event which featured Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Fred Couples and Nick Faldo, marks the first time in the event's thirteen-year history that it has revisited a course.
Whistler loves families and families will love Whistler even more this year thanks to Golf Whistler's new Junior Golf Program aimed at building interest and golf opportunities for kids and their parents. In an unprecedented move, all four championship golf courses in Whistler will be adding Junior Tees and at each of the three village-based courses Kids Play Free all season long if accompanied by a paying adult.
