Tiger 22, Phil 1 = Your future majors count

Now that dimwits everywhere are declaring Tiger not so dominant (no surprise to see my favorite Lefty Loving blogger Matt Paulson joining this Mensa society), here’s a little reality check. Tiger Woods is not only going to break Jack Nicklaus’ major wins record, he going to blow by it, to the tune of at least 22 career major titles. Phil Mickelson, on the other hand, will forever be stuck on one.

I think the golf-playing rat Brandon Tucker featured in his latest unique blog actually had a better shot at Augusta than Phil. I wouldn’t have been so confident in declaring that rodent a no chancer.

For the Tiger critic Mensas, here’s why Tiger was just as dominant as ever at Augusta. The Paulsons may want to note: just because you couldn’t watch a major part of the run on CBS doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Glad to see Paulson brought up famous brothers though. Tim Mickelson is one of the good guys in golf. Listen to players on the younger Mickelson’s University of San Diego team talk about their coach and you know he’s doing something right. (See, I don’t criticize all Mickelsons, only those with a gag reflex.)

As for my Baldwin brothers, Stephen is definitely more talented than me. Daniel is sort of a lout though. He threw a dinner roll at my head in Providence a few years ago (true family story).
