North Stonington, CT -- The members of Lake of
Isles will be able to hit the links this month when the South (Private)
Course officially opens for play April 19. The Rees Jones
designed course, which broke ground in the fall of 2003, features rolling
terrain, island tees and greens and breathtaking views.
"The turf looks absolutely fantastic after a long winter," stated Brock
Nicholas, Director of Golf. "My hat goes off to our agronomic crew. Our
guys toured the property daily making notes and adjustments; they spent
countless hours refining plans for 2005 and preparing for this very moment.
Because of their hard work and dedication, our members will enjoy superior
playing conditions right from opening day".
The exclusive South (Private) Course is available to members and their
accompanied guests. Member privileges include members' only dining room,
locker room and practice facility. In addition, members receive playing
privileges at over 140 of the finest golf clubs in the world through the
Troon Golf Advantage program. A limited number of memberships at Lake of
Isles are still available.

The Resort Course, also designed by Rees Jones, will officially open May
21, 2005. The Golf Academy, a state of the art, year round practice
facility is scheduled to open later this summer and eight four-bedroom
luxury villas will be available in 2006.
