BEAVERTON, Ore. - Golfers experiencing sudden and violent hacking, acute hydrophobia particularly on long Par 3's, or the inoperable dead-pull left...fear not for help is one swing away.
Nike Golf is proud to announce the start of a national CPR Tour, designed to save golf games one round and one city at a time.
Beginning this week, Nike Golf is bringing the ease and enjoyment of its CPR hybrids - Clubs for Prevention and Recovery - to golfers around the country through a mobile tour visiting on-course and off-course locations throughout the country from April 13 through mid-September.
More often these days golfers are moving to hybrid clubs to ensure the distance and arcing ball-flight they need for distances anywhere from 160 yards to more than 210 yards. With Nike Golf's addition of CPR-specific shaft options for women, seniors and heads designed for left-handed players this spring, the CPR line now has models for every golfer and of every ability level.
Three Nike Golf-CPR ambulances will begin touring this week throughout the West, Southwest, and Southeast. Over the next six months they will make their way east scheduling stops at golf courses, practice facilities and off-course golf specialty shops. A full schedule is available at www.nikegolf.com.
At each stop, Nike Golf's CPR medics will introduce golfers to the full line of CPR woods, CPR iron-woods, and the new CPR mixed set. Named Hybrids of the Year in 2004 by Golf Digest, the CPR clubs are arguably the easiest clubs to hit for distances equal to that of five irons up through and even beyond a two iron.
Golfers will have the opportunity to win CPR t-shirts, hats, sleeves of new Nike Golf balls, and more. Most importantly, they will have the opportunity to demo and purchase every club in the CPR line. Nike Golf staff will be on hand to write CPR prescriptions that will certainly remedy any ill conditions golfers have been experiencing on the golf course. Additionally, the entire line of Nike Golf equipment will be available during the demo experience.
