We're in a deep freeze, folks, except for Hawaii, and they’re getting flooded with rain (perfect timing with the PGA Tour there). According to the National Weather Service, there's been snow in 49 states before, but it doesn't happen often. Pebble Beach and Bandon Dunes are closely linked, if only because they share the same coastline and both resorts have become regulars among many golf course rankings' best resort golf courses in America. Reader Tom Wattle recently played them and shared his thoughts with us. He rated all four courses - Bandon Dunes, Bandon Trails, Pacific Dunes and Pebble Beach - five-star experiences on their course pages, even though his comments on Pebble Beach weren't 100 percent positive.
