ENGLEWOOD, Colo-- KickPoint Press is proud to announce, that Physical Golf: The Golfers Guide to Conditioning and Peak Performance will now be translated into Korean and distributed by Daehan Media of Seoul, Republic of Korea. This marks the first venture by KickPoint Press with foreign distribution rights.
Physical Golf, authored by local golf trainer, Neil Wolkodoff, Ph.D., has been a best seller in the U.S. for the last 5 years. According to Jay Sviboda, Marketing Director for KPP, “it is natural that Daehan Media would look to a book with a great track record because of its unique design and information that can help golfers improve their performance.” South Korea has built more new golf courses per capita over the last 5 years than any other pacific rim country, so the interest in every aspect of golf is booming stated Sviboda.
Other books are slated for translation into Korean, and agreements are in process for translation and distribution in Japan and Spanish-speaking countries. Sviboda notes the “timetable is for 5 more books to be translated and distributed in these areas in the next year including the upcoming Physical Golf For Women and Physical Skiing. As we lead the world in fitness applications for enhanced sports performance, it is logical that these interest in improved sports performance necessitates translation of these popular texts.” Sviboda also notes the books will look almost identical to their English language counterparts including pictures, illustrations and layout.
The author, Neil Wolkodoff, Ph.D., trains golf athletes on the PGA and LPGA tours in physical and mental training programs. He holds certifications from the American Council on Exercise, American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the U.S. Weight Lifting Federation. He has trained a variety of athletes including NFL, NHL and MLB and Olympic athletes for over 15 years. The Physical Golf training program is based at the Greenwood Athletic Club in Englewood, Colorado.
