National Kidney Foundation sets tourney dates

The NKF's Cadillac Invitational plans to have more balls in the air at this year's golf tournament with many of them going over water. We have moved the October 25 scramble style (4 golfers to a team) event to Crandon Golf Course on Key Biscayne (a new venue with great water views and challenging water hazards).

Participants in this tournament get to play on the Bay at
Crandon Park Golf Course and help raise money for the National Kidney Foundation
of Florida at the same time! The golfing will be preceded by Cadillac test
drives sponsored by Williamson Cadillac.

The winning foursome qualifies to compete in the National Cadillac Invitational
Finals at Pebble Beach Golf Resorts (registration fee required) with free
airline tickets courtesy of Northwest Airlines. There are also prizes for the
2nd to 7th place teams. Other ways to win include a putting contest and skins
game.

On Friday, October 22, Williamson Cadillac will host Cadillac Cocktails from
6pm-9pm. This will benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Florida with
complimentary Bacardi cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

Held at the Williamson Cadillac dealership on US 1 and SW 104th Street, you can admire the new car models while you bid on cases of wine, golf items, and other fabulous prizes.
You do not have to be a golfer to attend but as space is limited, please respond
by calling 305-854-5690 by October 19th.

The trio of recent hurricanes has not only given Miami too much rain but has put
a great strain on the finances of the NKF statewide with a huge slew of requests
for extra funding as a result of the storms.

The need for successful fundraising events is even more pressing after our crazy summer. If you want to play in our tournament, please contact Jennifer @ 305 854-5690 or e-mail jcummings@kidneyfla.org.
