ClubCorp announces more than $3 million in renovations at three Dallas area clubs

DALLAS (March 24, 2005) - ClubCorp, the world leader in delivering premier golf, private club, and resort experiences, has announced investments of more than $3 million in capital improvements to three of its Dallas area clubs, including Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, and Shady Valley Golf Club in Arlington.

The Dallas area investments were part of ClubCorp's $60 million in capital renovations, expansions, and improvements for 2004. ClubCorp plans to spend $68 million in 2005 toward improving its clubs and resorts.

Improvements at Gleneagles Country Club and Las Colinas Country Club included complete golf course renovations. The $1.5 million project at Gleneagles included a complete renovation to its Queen's Course with rebuilt bunkers and the addition of new 419 Bermuda grass fairways and L93/Crenshaw bentgrass greens. At Las Colinas, the $1.5 million project, scheduled to be complete April 1, includes resurfaced greens, rebuilt bunkers with the addition of white sand, a new irrigation system around the greens, and new cart paths. Shady Valley Golf Club is spending more than $300,000 renovating, refurbishing, and improving its clubhouse. The renovations there are set to be complete April 2.
