J.D. Power And Associates Names Centex Homes Myrtle Beach Division Certified New-Home Builder

March 23, 2005, Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Centex Homes Myrtle Beach Division has been named a J.D. Power and Associates Certified New-Home Builder, based on exceeding a benchmark set by the J.D. Power and Associates annual Syndicated New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study. J.D. Power and Associates is the global leader in quality and customer satisfaction research. Centex Homes is the area’s largest homebuilder with developments along the Grand Strand from Brunswick County, N.C. to Georgetown County, S.C.
The Certified New-Home Builder designation is available to new-homebuilders outside the 30 largest homebuilding markets initially covered in J. D. Power and Associate Syndicated New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study. The Certified New-Home Builder Program recognizes that many homebuilders outside those 30 major metropolitan areas that provide “An Outstanding Home Ownership Experience.”

Homeowners are then surveyed at the end of the nine-month period to measure satisfaction with overall customer service. Each survey score is based on quality of customer service, sales staff and home readiness.
