Austin's premier spring golf league now forming

March 19, 2005 (PRWEB) – Armadillo Golf Players, Austin's premier co-ed golf league, starts its 15th season on March 27 at The Golf Club at Circle C. The league runs through April 24.

Golfers play a five week, 9-hole tournament in a two-person team handicapped scramble format on Sunday afternoons starting at 4:15pm. The format is designed to be enjoyable for golfers of every skill level. Teammates alternate each week so in addition to great golf, players meet fellow professionals and friends in this fun and informal setting.

The fee is $169 and includes cart & green fees, range balls and prizes, which are awarded each week to the winning twosome, men's long drive, lady's long drive, closest to the hole and of course the Honorable Road Kill Award, for the team placing last.
