(SPRINGFIELD, TN) -- The Legacy Golf Course today announces that it will host a one-day regional qualifying event for the Duff Challenge on October 3rd with tee times beginning at 10 a.m.
The Duff Challenge – dubbed “America’s Most Exciting Pro/Am – is contested at 85 regional sites throughout the U.S. from August 22 through October 30. The top two amateur teams qualify for the national finals in Mesquite, NV and chance to play Scott Hoch and John Daly for $50,000 on The Golf Channel.
“We’re excited to be affiliated with a tournament with as much buzz surrounding it as the Duff Challenge,” says Legacy Director of Golf Mike Shearer. “We think The Legacy sets up perfectly for this type of event.”
The event is open to all players with handicap indexes between and including 7.0 to 27.0. The entry fee is $79 per golfer, and registration closes September 23.
