Kool Tee now available for independent sales reps. and distributors

ZEELAND, Michigan – March 18, 2005 – Kool Tee, manufactured by Extol Inc., announces that U.S. and international territories for both independent sales reps and distributors are now available for the product successfully introduced at the 2005 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.

Kool Tee offers much-needed help to golfers suffering from leg, back and spinal problems and whose range of motion and flexibility has been impaired. With its pistol grip and unique patented (pending) design, the Kool Tee allows players to tee up a golf ball--as well as several other playing functions--without bending over. "The reception to Kool Tee in Orlando by golf professionals and others was most gratifying," said Chuck Berghuis, Director of Sales and Marketing. "Even before the Show, we knew Kool Tee was a quality product that would be helpful for certain golfers; but it's always reassuring to receive such first-hand and positive feedback,"

One strong endorsement came from PGA Professional and Life Member Peter Longo, well-regarded for his teaching experience and skills with the physically-challenged player. "I have seen several types of self-tee models but Kool Tee is by far the best on the market," said Longo, author of the "Challenge Golf" video and CD. "It's extremely sturdy, very easy to use and takes care of every bending task. I highly recommend it for anyone with back and leg problems and especially for disabled people."

In Orlando, Kool Tee's principals discovered the product is also useful for busy teaching pros who spend long hours on the practice tee. PGA Teaching Professional Doug Weaver, Hilton Head, said the Kool Tee allowed him not to bend over incessantly out on the range while also affording him a safer distance from his pupils' wayward swings. "I use Kool Tee and find it an effective and back-saving device," said Weaver.

Kool Tee is available in six different colors, and the company offers custom color and private labeling options as well. The handle and claw of the device are molded from high-strength ABS (which is typically used in safety headgear and luggage) while the stainless steel blade has utility in repairing ball marks. The product clips safely to virtually any golf bag and comes with a five-year warranty. Kool Tee is now available to the public for $89.95 plus shipping.

"Until now, so many players like me have been facing the unpleasant prospect of curtailing their golf and giving up the game altogether because of injuries," says Kool Tee investor Pres Kool, whose nagging back problems motivated his longtime friend and renowned inventor Konrad Marcus to search for a golf product remedy. "With the Kool Tee, we hope to give those folks a new lease on their golf life."
