• The Callaway Fusion and Ping G2 Irons had the best Overall Performance rating. Clubs were rated on Appearance, Feel, Distance, Consistency, Forgiveness, and Value.

o Honorable Mention went to the Nike NDS irons

• The Most Consistent Category was captured by the Ping G2 irons

Pub Links Golfer Magazine utilizes PGA Professionals to supervise amateurs to test the latest clubs both on a range and over at least one round of golf. All play testers are volunteers. They are asked to rate clubs on Appearance, Feel, Forgiveness, Accuracy, Distance and Value using a scale of 1-10. Value is not based on cost alone, however what are testers believe provides the most value for the money. From these ratings the Overall Performance Rating was drawn. As part of a subjective exercise, and not scientific, the play-testers were asked to rate the clubs for what they mean to them.
