The inaugural Championship of Best Friends will roll out in eight cities, Detroit, Jacksonville, New Orleans, New York City, Oakland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Phoenix. In each city best friend twosomes compete at one of thirty registered public, semi-private and private golf courses. Eight City Championship winners are paired with PGA Tour Professionals, or LPGA Star Natalie Gulbis, and their best friends; the resulting eight foursomes compete in the first ever Championship of Best Friends.

The inaugural championship will be held on January 30, 2006 and hosted at TPC at Valencia Golf Club in sunny California. All eight teams in the Championship of Best Friends will receive an expense paid trip to Pro Football's biggest game, held in Detroit in 2006.
