BREA, CA – Matrix Composite Corporation (www.mccshafts.com) has officially launched its new top-of-the-line Master Fitting System "MFS 85 HB" hybrid shaft. The "MFS 85 HB" hybrid shaft features MCC's unique Tip Torsional Resistance (TTR) technology which cuts down the amount shafts deflect at and through impact. The "MFS 85 HB", like all MCC MFS series shafts, is available in an unprecedented 12 flex designations so that golfers may be more accurately fit for their hybrid club. MCC's "MFS HBT" tour version of this shaft was introduced to the PGA Tour in February and has become the fastest growing hybrid shaft in terms of PGA Tour usage this year.
"We at MCC Shafts are very proud to introduce our 'MFS' series hybrid entry, the 'MFS 85 HB'," MCC Vice President of Sales and Corporate Communications Jim Jack stated. "More and more golfers are taking advantage of hybrids and we are pleased to offer what we believe is the finest hybrid shaft on the market. We have been very fortunate that the tour version of our 'MFS 85 HB' has already been put into play by over a dozen of the top golfers on the PGA Tour in 2005 and the list is growing. More and more touring pros are using hybrid clubs, which means that they are only going to become more popular among the rest of us. We are very confident that our new 'MFS 85 HB', made with our unique attention to detail and exacting testing standards, will optimize the performance of these very useful hybrid clubs."
MCC officials plan to officially launch the MFS HBT (for Tour version) in the spring of 2005.
