Don Trahan Golf Academy Opening

The Don Trahan Golf academy relocates. D.J. Trahan, Don's son, gets PGA Tour Card.

The Don Trahan Golf Academy has moved to a new site, at the Old South Golf Links on the mainland at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, effective January 1, 2005. Being back on the mainland, at the last traffic light before the bridge to Hilton Head, makes reaching the academy for schools, clinics and private lessons fast and easy. School dates, lesson info, rates and directions are all available at the school web site or by calling Mike Mlay, PGA, Director of Instruction at 843-683-5988.

The Don Trahan Golf Academy will have it's Grand Opening at Old South Golf Links on Saturday, March 19th with a clinic by Don starting at 1:00PM. Don and D.J.'s club-fitter/builder, Mike O'barsky of Espen Golf, the Nike pros and club-fitting van will also be present to talk about club fitting.

D.J. finished tied for 11th at the PGA Tour School this past December and will play a full schedule on the 2005 PGA Tour. D.J. played on the 2004 Nationwide Tour and finished 26th on the money list capped off with a win at the Miccosukee Open in Miami in October.

D.J. will be playing in the 2005 MCI Heritage Classic at Harbour Town Golf Links, April 11 - 17. D.J. and Don will conduct a free-to-all golf clinic at Old South on Tuesday evening, April 12th at 6PM. D.J. will be available for questions, pictures and autographs.
