SMT Golf and Debbie Eckroth Tee It Up at This Years First Futures Tour Event

Oswego, IL - SMT Golf and staff player Debbie Eckroth will tee it up for their first Futures Tour event this weekend at the Lakeland FUTURES Golf Classic which will be played at Cleveland Heights Golf Course in Lakeland, FL. This year’s tournament offers a $65,000 purse with $9,100 going to the winner. Eckroth will be playing SMT’s Babylon driver and carrying the SMT Staff Bag during Futures Tour events this year and wearing SMT apparel as well.
Eckroth is currently ranked eighth on the all time money leaders list on the Futures Tour. In addition to playing SMT equipment, Deb will be representing SMT as a tour rep for both Futures and LPGA Tour events this year. “I wouldn’t play a club if it didn’t help my game,” said Eckroth. That’s what first attracted me to the SMT. They’ve had so much success with their drivers over the past few years that I was compelled to try them. When your job is to win golf tournaments, you want to make sure that you’re playing with the best equipment. SMT makes the best driver in the golf industry right now. That’s why I’m playing it. I’m really looking forward to an exciting year on the Futures Tour. I can’t wait to get out there and put the Babylon into play.”
