ATLANTA – March 9, 2005 – Once again, Srixon’s Z-UR golf balls had many stellar performances this past weekend across the globe. In Mexico City, Mexico, Srixon Staff Professional Karrie Webb came in second place on Sunday at the LPGA Tour’s MasterCard Classic at Bosque Real Country Club.
Webb, who played with the Z-UR prototype golf ball, I-302 irons and Srixon prototype putter, cruised to a 4-under par, 212 total (71-71-70). Webb has now finished 1-2 in consecutive weeks.
On the European Tour, Srixon Staff Professional Miguel Angel Jimenez shot an 18-under par, 270 total (67-65-68-70) to tie for second place at the Dubai Desert Classic at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Sunday. Jimenez, who held the lead up until the 18th hole on Sunday before falling to a dramatic eagle, played with Srixon’s Z-UR golf ball.
On Japan’s LPGA Tour, Srixon Staff Professional Miho Koga came in solo third place at the Daikin Orchid playing Srixon’s Z-UR prototype golf ball. Koga shot a 4-over par, 220 total (76-73-71).
