CARLSBAD, Calif. – March 1, 2005 – TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company has announced that PGA teaching professional Kip Puterbaugh is the newest member of TaylorMade-adidas's Professional Advisory Staff, of which there are 60 members. The TaylorMade Presidential Advisory Staff consists of highly influential PGA Club Professionals who may be competitive players, key merchandisers, buyers and teachers with regional influence.
Puterbaugh has served as director of instruction at Kip Puterbaugh's Aviara Golf Academy, located at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad, Calif., for 14 years. Puterbaugh and his teaching staff, which includes six experienced PGA professionals, will use TaylorMade golf equipment and wear adidas Golf footwear and apparel.
A member of the PGA of America's Quarter Century Club, Puterbaugh is included on GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Teachers List in the U.S., while Aviara Golf Academy is part of GOLF's Top 25 Golf Schools List.
