CHARLESTON, SC. – Feb. 25, 2005 – The National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) has announced that an eLarning seminar will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2005 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EST. The seminar is sponsored by Titleist Footjoy Cobra.
Entitled "Effective Compensation and Benefits for A Successful Golf Operation," the eLearning seminar will be led by Douglas Main, director of The Golf Group for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Main is an acknowledged expert in the business of golf and is a frequent speaker on the subject of golf course management, operation efficiencies, golf financing, mergers and acquisitions, and trends in the golf industry.
This seminar coincides with the release of NGCOA's 2005 Compensation and Benefits Report. Seminar attendees will receive the report, which will be mailed out after the session for further reference. The seminar is $125 for NGCOA members and $195 for non-NGCOA members.
Owners/managers can participate at their desks by simply signing onto the appropriate web link and dialing a phone number. Staff will be available to assist anyone who experiences difficulty signing on. There is no limit how many people may watch the seminar at the same computer at no additional charge.
