Don't buy another golf club until you read this book!

Tom Wishon and Sports Media Group release new book -- The Search for the Perfect Club.

Golf is about having fun. Simply put, this book is about understanding its tools and removing some of the barriers that keep it from being MORE fun for more people.
Each year golfers spend 4.7 BILLION dollars on golf equipment; yet know less about that equipment than almost any other consumer item. This leads to millions of golfers playing with clubs that can't possibly meet their needs. And this, in turn, leads to a kind of equipment-induced frustration which is a leading factor in nearly 3 MILLION people leaving the game each year.

It's time this exodus stopped.

THE SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT GOLF CLUB is the first book that explains to the golfing layman how and why golf clubs work the way they do. It lets them in on the secrets that will allow them to spend their money more wisely and start enjoying the game more. It is the one book EVERY golfer needs to read.

Tom Wishon is a 24 year veteran of the golf equipment industry specializing in clubhead design, shaft analysis, and clubfitting research and development. He is the only designer from the component clubmaking side of the golf industry whose clubhead designs have been used to win on the PGA Tour, having designed the clubs used by Scott Verplank, Bruce Lietzke, Ben Crenshaw and in 1999 before his so untimely death, Payne Stewart. He has written 5 books on clubmaking technology in his career and is a 10 year member of the Golf Digest Technical Panel.

Tom has also recently been named as the Technical Advisor to the PGA of America’s web site, www.pga.com, where he writes a monthly column on golf equipment information. Tom recently left the corporate side of the golf equipment industry to form his own company, Tom Wishon Golf Technology, to offer professional custom clubmakers only the best in clubhead, shaft and grip designs for high quality custom clubmaking work.
