Feb. 17, 2005 – Having recently returned from the PGA golf show in Orlando, Florida, Mars Golf of Columbus, Ohio, has announced a highly successful PGA show. Mars, which exhibited its line of putters and private label drivers, experienced a very high volume of booth traffic from PGA professionals and golf buyers from around the world. Those who stopped by the Mars booth had the opportunity to try the putters on one of two putting greens. They could also view a number of proprietary private label driver options in a variety of graphics options.
Wayne Lin, Mars Golf CEO, looks forward to 2005 based on what he saw at the show. “Mars booth traffic was exceptional. We received numerous positive comments about the putters. The Mars putter line consists of 4 models including the Firestorm, Ring Of Fire, Hellfire and Fireball. At first glance the Mars putters look like something “out of this world.” While there is no doubt they have a different look, these Mars putter designs are as playable as they are unique. Those who tried the putters at the show were impressed by their combination of feel and accuracy. Featuring head shapes that push the limits of design, Mars putters were definitely one of the more innovative products seen in Orlando.
Precision cast from high-grade 431 stainless steel, all four of the Mars putters offer a milled polymer face that promotes soft feel and a true roll. Each of the putters has extreme perimeter weighting through its head design. This weighting is designed to promote a high MOI while at the same time providing the unique look to the putters. The head design is a perfect blend of form and function that takes putter design to the next level. The “Line of Fire” putters are face balanced through a combination of head shape and a proprietary curved steel shaft. The Hellfire is a heavier weighted putter for those who need help grooving their stroke.
