Honours Golf facilities to get NGF customer loyalty awards

Birmingham, AL. – Feb. 14, 2005 – Honours Golf has announced the naming of Rock Creek Golf Club and World Golf Village to the NGF’s (National Golf Foundation) Third Annual Customer Loyalty Awards. Honours Golf currently owns and manages both facilities.

"We’re absolutely thrilled to have two of our clubs recognized by the NGF and more importantly, our members and guests,” said Rob Shults, president of Honours Golf Company. “We strive to create memorable experiences by offering superior course conditioning and excellent customer service. We’re proud of our staff and their efforts to over-deliver on each guest’s and member’s expectations.”

The Customer Loyalty Awards are based on surveys fielded through NGF's CLASP (Customer Loyalty and Satisfaction Program) in 2004. Winners were announced by the NGF during the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida. Recipients were selected from more than 400 courses participating in 2004 CLASP. NGF presented awards in three categories, each containing an overall winner and nine runners-up. As part of this program, customers rated their satisfaction in 12 key areas of the golf facility including: overall value, course condition, pace of play, customer service, amenities, aesthetics and scenery, and overall experience.

Rock Creek Golf Club was the overall winner for the 2004 CLASP Awards in the Daily Fee category. Located in Fairhope, Alabama, this 18-hole 7,000-yard championship course received superior ratings in course conditions, customer service, amenities and overall golf experience. Rated 4 ½ stars by Golf Digest, Rock Creek Golf Club blends the natural topography changes with the varied foliage of the land. Because of this natural beauty, Rock Creek also received high marks for aesthetics and course scenery.

In addition, World Golf Village was one of nine runners-up in Premium Daily Fee Facility category. Located in St. Augustine, Florida, World Golf Village is home to two 18-hole, championship golf courses, the King & Bear and the Slammer & Squire. It received a 98% satisfaction rating in overall course condition, friendliness and service of staff and overall golf experience. World Golf Village is also rated 4½ stars and recently named in “The 75 Best Golf Resorts in North America” by Golf Digest. Both courses have hosted the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, a Champions Tour event, and are home courses to the World Golf Hall of Fame.
