Sun Mountain announces introducing its new Zero-G carry golf bag

MISSOULA, Mont. -- Sun Mountain continues to be the defining force in the
evolution of the golf bag with the new ZERO-G(r) carry bag that transfers
the weight of the clubs from golfers' shoulders to their waists. ZERO-G is
carried like a traditional dual strap bag with the addition of a belt that
is naturally positioned at the hip and simply closed with an adjustable
Velcro(r) strap. ZERO-G allows the bag to feel nearly weightless by
transferring the majority of the weight off of the shoulders which results
in more upright posture and reduced upper body fatigue. ZERO-G is in stores
now with a full-suggested retail of $239.99. For the retailer nearest you,
call 800-227-9224 or visit www.sunmountain.com.

Research has shown that transferring carried weight from the upper body to
the lower body disperses that weight throughout the entire body allowing one
to walk with a more upright posture. It stands to reason that lightening the
load on the neck and shoulder muscles and transferring this load to the
larger muscles of the lower body can in fact improve one's game.

"We have had other strap systems that transfer weight from the shoulders to
the waist," explains Sun Mountain President, Ed Kowachek. "The advantage of
ZERO-G is that the fit can be customized to the golfer by simply adjusting
the length of the waist belt. ZERO-G is one size fits all and its use
quickly becomes second nature."

The belt on the ZERO-G is a one-size-fits all padded strap that threads
between the bag and the hip pad, adjusts simply from 28" - 46" and then
holds tight with a Velcro closure. As an added bonus the inside of the belt
on the ZERO-G is a non-slip rubberized material that holds the bag against
the golfer's body securely and keeps the bag from twisting or bouncing.

ZERO-G is a new performance enhancing carry system incorporated onto the
same frame as the Sun Mountain Superlight 3.5 that in 2001 broke the ultra
light barrier as a full-featured, 3-1/2 pound golf bag. ZERO-G includes a
built-in top collar handle that provides a convenient spot to grab when
removing the bag from the shoulder, top-molded stand attachment for
stability, and patented Roller-Bottom stand mechanism. The bag includes a
six-way top with full-length dividers; seven pockets including a full-length
clothing pocket, waterproof velour-lined valuables pouch, water bottle
pouch, and stacked accessory pockets; and Sun Mountain's Dual X-Strap system
for balanced carrying in an easy-on/easy-off design.

In addition to golf bags, Sun Mountain is dedicated to finding the most
innovative fabrics, the latest weaving processes, and the best designs to

windshirts, fleece and the RainFlex(r) collection. Sun Mountain is an
officially licensed supplier of outerwear to the PGA Tour, Champions Tour,
Duramed Futures Tour, and Nationwide Tour. The Sun Mountain Speed Cart(r) is
