The Putting Arc congratulates The Teaching Center at Old Waverly Golf
Club, home of the Putting Arc and the new Ben Hogan book, "The Final
Missing Piece of Ben Hogan's Secret Puzzle".
Two of the Teaching Center's students have qualified for two of the
USGA's most prestigious tournaments. Carlos Sainz Jr. of Elgin, IL
qualified for the USGA Amateur to be played at the Pinehurst Resort and Country Club, and Brad Riles of Madison, MS qualified for the USGA Mid-Amateur Championship to be played at the Milwaukee Country Club.
Both players have learned the sequence of weight shift and body motion
given to the golf world by Mr. Ben Hogan. This motion has led to Four
Mississippi Amateur Tournament wins in July and August, five Mississippi Individual State High School Champions in 2007, as well as the above two
USGA National Championship qualifiers.
Ben Hogan said his secret was easy to see, if you knew where to look.
You can now look in the right place, just as the above amateur golfers
have been taught to do.

Congratulation also to Andres Romero for his course record tying round
of 65 in the PGA Championship at Oakland Hills. It was the low round for
the tournament.
