John Rollins shines on PGA Tour with new Z-UR golf ball

ATLANTA – Feb. 9, 2005 – Srixon Staff Professional John Rollins made the switch this year to Srixon’s new Z-UR golf ball and in just the first few months of the PGA Tour season he’s blown away his 2004 101st place driving distance ranking to 11th place through the FBR Open.

Rollins, who ranked 3rd in driving distance at yesterday’s FBR Open en-route to a tie for 11th, has vaulted up 90 spots and has increased his total average drive by 13.5 yards to a present day average of 300.2 yards per drive.

“Not only am I driving it farther than I ever have with the new Z-UR, I get all the spin and control I need into and around the greens,” said Rollins. “I have been keeping up with players who used to out drive me; in some cases I’m now blowing it past them! This ball is unbelievable,” added Rollins.

Srixon’s revolutionary Z-UR is constructed with an incredibly soft, shear-resistant, and membrane-thin urethane-elastomer cover measuring an astounding 0.02-inch thin and features the largest and fastest Energetic Gradient Growth core Srixon has ever developed. The Z-UR is a ball with tremendous initial velocity, ideal ball flight and aerodynamics, and pinpoint control and feel.
