Redesigned '08 PGA Fall Expo emphasizes investment returns

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Return on investment is an underscored objective at the redesigned 2008 PGA Fall Expo, Aug. 26-27, at Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 2008 event has been redesigned to provide new and improved vendor sourcing, equipment testing, networking, business solutions and best practices in a compact timeframe all while reducing attendees participation expenses.

"Our objective is to make attending the PGA Fall Expo not only worth it from an expense standpoint, but worthwhile," said PGA Shows Group Vice President Ed Several. "While reducing attendees’ expenses has been a top priority, we are most proud of the efforts to improve participation value."

PGA Golf Exhibitions has conducted multiple focus groups with golf retailers and PGA Professionals with management recently spending a day in the life of a PGA Professional to better understand the challenges faced in todays economic climate.

"The goal, first and foremost, is providing PGA Professionals and retailers with the tools to grow their business today and in the month’s ahead," said Several.

The results of attendee feedback, focus groups and first-hand experience is a redesigned PGA Fall Expo focusing on providing even more worthwhile participation value and reduced expenses to make attendance worth the trip.
