IGCEMA is now accepting nominations for Edwin Budding Award

The International Golf Course Equipment Managers Association is now accepting nominations for the annual Edwin Budding Award sponsored by Ransomes/Jacobsen.

Edwin Budding was a pioneer who invented the reel mower in 1830, as well as the adjustable wrench.

The award recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the golf course equipment industry, including those who have excelled in the business, history, design, engineering and maintenance of golf course equipment. Anyone in the golf industry may nominate someone for this award membership in IGCEMA is not required.

The award committee is made up of industry leaders and a member of the IGCEMA. Nominations should be sent to nominations@igcema.org. The deadline for nominations will be October 1, and the winner will be presented the award at Harrogate Week in the UK during the BTME conference.
