Aserta’s “Monster” success at PGA Show

SAN JOSE, CA. – Feb. 5, 2005 – Aserta Sports, Inc. introduced its newest model the Monster, by Parente at the 2005 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando last week and according to National Director of Sales, Steve Okazaki the response was overwhelming.

"We exceeded projected new account openings by 65%," said Okazaki. The Monster designed by famed club maker Richard Parente is Aserta's next generation of high performance technology. It incorporates the best effects of Inverted Mass Technology (IVM) that raises the center of gravity into the perfect position to impart topspin.

"Not only did we exceed forecasted account openings, our unit sales surpassed Show projections by 20% continued Okazaki. "And as a bonus, we filled seven new sales territories with industry veterans." Aserta has a combined sales force of twenty-eight representatives nationwide.

The Monster, by Parente joins the Eclipse in the Aserta line of IVM putters. The mallet shape Monster features an advanced Hollow Core Bi-Metal design with an aircraft grade T-6 aluminum sole plate and a heavy 308 weapons grade stainless steel body. Shipments of the Monster, by Parente will begin by March 1.

Located in San Jose, CA, Aserta Sports, Inc is the inventor and manufacturer of Inverted Mass Technology, the patented process that raises the putter's center of gravity into the perfect position to automatically impart topspin instead of backspin, hopping or skidding caused by bottom heavy putters. With Aserta, the golf ball starts rolling accurately toward its target the instant it leaves the clubface.
