DALLAS -- ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs, announced today the appointment of Dave Woodyard as executive vice president of new business development. In this role, Woodyard will oversee all domestic and international new business development, including club mergers, acquisitions and real estate development. He will continue to serve on the ClubCorp executive and operations committee. Woodyard previously served as vice president of new business development for the company in the early 90s.
Most recently, Woodyard served as executive vice president of ClubCorp’s business and sports division, where he was responsible for the operations, growth and development of all business and sports clubs along with coordinating oversight for the overall company's food and beverage, athletics and tennis operations.
He joined ClubCorp in 1983 as an assistant manager and served as general manager of various city, athletic and country clubs, vice president of new business development and both regional and senior vice president of operations. He attended Ohio State University, is a “Life-Loyal” Sigma Chi, and is a member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), the International Health and Racquet Sports Association (IHRSA) and the Advisory Counsel of the Catholic Foundation.
